My work moves between abstraction and figuration, balancing raw gesture with deliberate structure to create quiet thresholds into personal and mythic spaces. Within the canvas, forms emerge like sensory memories—evoking fractured rooms, veiled rituals, and maps of things left unsaid. Rather than presenting a static image, each piece establishes its own internal logic and weight, inviting the viewer into a distinct field of feeling. A foundational period in my practice was spent studying under Bruce McGaw at the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) for two years. Since then, my work has been widely collected across the San Francisco Bay Area.
