The paintings navigate between abstraction and figuration, gesture and structure, offering quiet thresholds into spaces that feel at once personal and mythic. Forms emerge like memories recalled through sensation-fractured rooms, veiled rituals, and maps of something just beyond language. Each piece holds its own internal logic and weight, inviting the viewer to step not in front of an image, but into a field of feeling. During my two years working with Bruce McGaw in the painting department at the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI), my practice deepened, and my work has since been collected throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
